AL-Wallet works the same way as if you pay with a contactless card – and with the same high security.
When AL-Wallet is installed on your mobile phone, hold the mobile phone up to the payment terminal and you have paid.Your AL-Wallet can hold multiple cards – both debit and credit cards.
The last used card “is at the top of the purse”, and will be paid with unless you select another card before you pay.
The card used most, you can put up as your ‘preferred’ card.
It will then be on top of the purse and you must actively choose another card if the preferred card should not be used for a payment.In order to use AL-Wallet, you must be a customer at Arbejdernes Landsbank.
AL-Wallet is independent of mobile operators and device manufactures.
The app works on all payment terminals that can accept contactless payments – both in Denmark and abroad.
There is no upper limit for payments, but the pin must be entered on the mobile for amount above 200 DKK.AL-Wallet.
